Eastern

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

I know I've been MIA, sorry everyone! Whenever I had time to take outfit pictures there seemed to be a blizzard come out of nowhere and hit the east coast...but the weather finally cleared up today.

I actually just got this Zara parka (which I have been lusting over for weeks!) in the mail today, and I was super excited to wear it out and shoot ootd pictures :)

Iphone 6 + Favorite Apps

Monday, January 26, 2015

I wanted to share some pictures and have sort of a casual chat about some of my favorite apps. Hope you like the pictures! -Nathaly

  • Afterlight
I love using the afterlight app for editing pictures because it has so many effects and filters to choose from. I usually use this app for instagram pictures.
  • Snapchat
I'm actually relatively new to the snapchat craze, but I'm totally hooked. I mostly just send embarrassing pictures to my friends lol.
  • Tumblr
Of course this is on my phone, I am literally on tumblr 24/7 and always try to post about my adventures when on the go.
  • Polyvore
I actually find myself polyvore-ing on the mobile app rather than on my laptop. I don't really know why but I find it easier to create sets on the app than on the actual website!
  • Instagram
Instagram is just one of those apps that no one can live without. I can guarantee you that if you were to see me in real life, I would probably be on Instagram (or tumblr). p.s. follow me @nathalys98
  • Starbucks
This app actually comes quite in handy when you're on the run. I find it easier to just have all my gift card money on the app so I don't have to waste time finding the actual card in my bag. no one wants to be holding up a line!

I also got this cute new case from Society6 (b&w stripes of course)

Review: Zara Mini City Bag

Monday, January 19, 2015

A lot of you guys have asked me about my Zara bag through my tumblr, and have also asked for a review... So here it is! I wanted to wait until I had a proper amount of time until I did a review, and after wearing it out non-stop, I think I have developed a proper overview on it :)

Design:
I snagged this cute handbag at Black Friday last year, as I really needed a new go-to bag. I instantly fell in love with the design, as I was looking for something small but something that can also fit all my essentials (camera, phone, make-up bag, random receipts, etc...). It is incredibly roomy, and that's thanks to all its pockets. This bag literally has a pocket for everything, which is always a plus on my list because it tends to keep me organized and clutter-free (now I don't have to search through my whole bag for my keys!).

Quality:
This is my first handbag from Zara and I am so happy that I purchased it. I have always heard that Zara makes amazing bags and that the quality is great too. The mini city bag is quite light, but sturdy at the same time. It also has a shoulder strap which fits comfortably on my shoulder, and the bag is gorgeous black (faux) leather. I paid around $55 for it, which I find a reasonable price for a nice quality bag.

Overall:
Definitely my go-to bag at the moment. If you can get your hands on this bag, I would recommend it 100% as it's great for everyday use.

Pockets for lots of storage? Check...

Gold hardware is always a plus :)

All Black Winter

Wednesday, January 7, 2015

I'm actually frozen solid in these pictures...yes it was that cold.  School was actually cancelled today because of the weather, so I had time to take some outfit pictures :) I opted for this warm, furry Urban Outfitters coat that I got for Christmas, and a thick scarf to keep warm. Naturally I also added black boots and a black bag (all black everything right!?). Hope you like the pictures, and cheers to a new year! -Nathaly

Madewell

Monday, January 5, 2015

Lace-up boots. High-top sneakers. Graphic tees. Edgy denim. These are some of the pieces I have been loving to style lately, and are also what I find myself wearing most of the time. So, on one of my online-shopping extravaganzas, I came across Madewell and completely fell in love with their pieces. I picked some of my favorites out for you guys (mostly all b&w of course) and decided to post some outfit sets showing how I would personally style them. Hope you guys like the outfits ! -Nathaly

Travel Attire

Tuesday, December 30, 2014

This is the time of year where the holidays are coming to an end, and everyone is traveling somewhere. As hectic as traveling is (airports, long road trips, etc.), thinking about what to wear is the last thing you would want to worry about. So, I've put together a mini "travel attire" guide to help you guys out a bit! Hope this comes in handy, and have a safe trip everyone! -Nathaly

p.s you can follow me on polyvore and keep up with all my sets :)

Cozy.

Friday, December 19, 2014

TGIF! As exams wrap up at school, I have been trying to dress as comfortable as possible all week, so it's no surprise that these American Eagle joggers are at the top of my outfit list. They are so cozy and warm (perfect for school!) and I'm in love with their B&W tweed pattern. Dress them up with a leather jacket and slip-on boots and your ready to walk into your classroom with confidence.
